Why this exists

I watched someone ask an AI assistant for a plumber recommendation in a Minnesota town, and the assistant confidently recommended three businesses. Two had closed. One never did plumbing. The real plumbers, the good ones, were invisible. Not because they were bad at their jobs, but because their websites were built for people and the buying decision was being made by a machine.

That gap is the entire reason BotLegible exists. I started it in September 2026 to close it, one business at a time, starting with southern Minnesota trades: plumbers, HVAC techs, roofers, electricians.

What "one-person company" actually means

It means there is no sales team, no account manager layer, and no outsourced anything. When you email hello@getbotlegible.com, I read it. When you buy a setup, I do the work. The audit, the structured data, the machine-readable files, the monthly report. If something's wrong, you tell me and I fix it.

It also means I'm honest about the limits. I take on a small number of clients at a time because the work is hands-on. If I'm full, I'll tell you that instead of selling you a slot that doesn't exist.

What I won't do

• No fake social proof. You won't find testimonials, review badges, or client logos on this site. The company is new. I'd rather earn those than invent them.
• No invented team. No stock-photo "staff page." It's me.
• No outcome promises. I don't promise rankings, mentions, traffic, or sales. Nobody honest can. I promise your business will be fully legible to AI assistants: correct facts, clear services, real prices, a working way to book.
• No lock-in. The monthly plan cancels anytime. The files I build for you are yours.
